I love cute little trays! If I could I would have all this in my entrance. They are so versatile they work for keys, or all that junk that you sometimes bring home from work. They sure would help  me not loose my keys so much. Do you have any use for them besides keys?

Today I took a trip to my local Salvation Army thrift store. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, just wanted to look around. They had some good things that I thought had potential. All they needed was a little love and a little work.

Hoy me fui a mi tienda de Salvation Army local. No estaba buscando nada nadamas queria ir a ver. encontre unas cosas que creo tenian potensial. Tome unas fotos de unas cosas que me gustaron y creo que nadamas necesitaban un poco de amor y un poco de trabajo para transformarlas.


This little box to store away some jewelry. I love the color.

This hutch is a little midcentury. I think I would just change the handles.

This  are toatly 80s with that pink fabric, But look at how modern they could look with  a simple fabric change.

This was real glass. Super heavy, plus I like the gold base.

This parlor chairs also just needed a little fabric or paint job and they would look great. so much potential in all this things. I love finding good things at my local salvation.
Estas sillas tambien nesecitabas combiar la tela oh pintarlas para que se miren como nuevas. Tanto potencial. Me encanta encontrar cosas buenas en mi salvation local.

I'm loving this kilim trend. I thought I would bring some into my home the cheap way. With a little d.i.y since I cant afford the $500 to $700 rugs out there. I thought about that extra pot I had left over from my past spray painting project. This is how it all began.

Me gusta mucho la tendencia de kilim que visto en pinterest. Estuve pensando en como traer algo de este tendencia a mi hogar sin tener que gastar $500 a $700 por una carpeta. Pense en la maseta que me sobro y esta es la transformasion.

I just drew it on with a pencil just to give me an  idea if I could even pull it off. Yes, it looks pretty bad I know.

Solamente lo dibuje con un lapis para darme una idea si podria hacerlo.

 I used some Martha stewart gold, red and other paints that I already had I bought from Walmart. The colors are pretty vibrant. I didn't go all the way around and I just colored one side I like it better this way.

Use unas pinturas que compre en Walmart y el dorado de Martha stewart tambien. los colores son muy brillantes. Nadamas lo  pinte en un lado me gusto mas asi.

This is the finished result. Its definitely caches your eye .

Y esto es el resultado final. Los colores son muy brillantes y toma mucha atension.

I added a plant to it and that's it.

Le puse una planta y lla.

VALENTINES HEART COOKIE

 

 

Hello, today I wanted to share the cookie cake that I like to make my husband on valentines. This year he'll get two. This is what you'll need.

Hola hoy queria compartir la galleta de chocolate que le ago a mi esposo para el dia de San Valentine este ano le are dos. Esto es lo que necesitas.

 

1) wax paper               1)papel de cera

2) cookie dough          2)masa para galleta

3) frosting                   3)glaseado

4)heart pan                  4)charola de corazon

5) teal food coloring, red food coloring    5)colorante Azul verde, colorante rojo

I bought the food coloring at Micheals and the pan Ive had for about 9 years. its been with me for a long time I might just pass it on to my kids. ok maybe not.

Compre el colorante en Micheals y el Corazon lo tengo lla mas de 9 anos tiene mucho tiempo conmigo. Estoy pensando en heredarlo a uno de mis chiquitos. Ok mejor no.

 

 

Make sure you add the wax paper or it will get stuck to the pan. I just added the cookie in the pan followed the directions  on the package and put it in the oven. Then just added the teal frosting and the pink I added with a plastic baggy I had because I didn't have the proper one but it worked great for me. that's it pretty simple.

Asegurate que uses el papel de sera . Agrege la galleta como estaban indicadas en el paquete y lo puse en el horno. Luego agrege el color Azul verde y el rojo agrege con una bolsita del mercado porque no tenia la indicada pero trabajo muy bien. Super simple.
